We're both. We run the business, and we engineer the software and hardware ourselves, to production standards. Every system we build started as something we needed in our own operation — created, tested, and proven in the field before it became a product.

From a single truck to a name people trust.
I'm Mike Fetherling, founder of Poly Service Pros. In 2014, my wife Trish and I started a polyurethane concrete-raising company with a single truck and trailer. In the decade since, it's grown into one of Chicagoland's most trusted names — bidding the jobs, leading the crews, maintaining the equipment, and keeping demanding schedules on track. Along the way we built our own software and systems for estimating, scheduling, field operations, and customer service — the unglamorous machinery that keeps jobs profitable and crews moving.
The foundation under it was a career in demanding industrial work — heavy construction and environmental remediation, running complex projects across the country.
That work was deeply technical. On heavy industrial equipment, some of the hottest and most vibration-laden machinery in the field, I designed motor controls and defined the logic requirements, then handled the installation, wiring, and troubleshooting myself. It's the same discipline behind everything we build now: understand the work well enough to define exactly what the tool has to do, then engineer it to hold up on the worst day, not just in the demo.
That includes hardware. Our own field hardware is designed, wired, and programmed in-house, built for heat, vibration, and power loss, and it's in service on real projects today. Patent applications are pending.
